Just a quick post to let you know that we are home from our whirlwind trip to QLD and absolutely exhausted...2 days of 10 hour drives take it out of you and my hips are feeling it today....lol

Funnily enough we come home to Melbourne and have beautiful sunny weather, but while in QLD it rained almost everyday.

We had a great time catching up with John's side of the family and after a day of sleep...lol (back in my own bed) I will update with piccies and all the fun.

House Update

I know I have been slack and I have been meaning to update house details for those who have asked.

I have been even slacker and forgetting to take my Camera when we go out to the block.

So here are some photos from this afternoon. Not the best photos but you can make out some of the house.
Unfortunately the brickies won't be starting until the new year...but at least we have a frame and roof tiles...

Busy, busy, busy

I need more hours in the day...lol

I can't believe that in less than 2 weeks we will be in QLD...time is going way to fast and I still have a million things to get organised.

On Saturday my Cousin got married...it was a beautiful day, perfect weather, beautiful location...in Mt Eliza in a venue overlooking the beach...the ceremony was on the decking overlooking the water. My cousin looked absolutely stunning...it was a perfect day / night.

Then yesterday John took the kids up to Ocean Grove for the Adventure Race that some of his work mates were in...2 hours driving and it was raining up there...lol...so they only stayed about an hour and came home. :(

Next Saturday night we have Johns work Christmas Party, then as we will be in QLD for Christmas we are having an early Christmas with my family on the 19th - so have to have all pressies bought by then....lol

The house is moving along...and what a bad scrapper I am I keep forgetting to take my camera out when we visit the house. On the weekend we were up to frame stage and today the roof tilers are meant to be starting and Wednesday the brickies. So fingers crossed the house will be at lock up before the Christmas break. It is just so nice to see things happening and now I can't wait to finally be able to move in. Of course now everywhere I go I see things that I want to buy for the house, but I have been good and only bought one thing...well it is my Christmas present...but I can't wait.

Well I am sure there is a lot more that I was going to say...but with baby brain and frazzled Christmas brain I am not remembering a lot.

Well on the bub front I am 25 weeks (tomorrow) and doing fine...looking huge but still enjoying the pregnancy...except for the hot days, I don't like them.

I will share a pic of John and I at the wedding...I think I look enormous...lol
